Raising the Entrepreneurial Bar | EPiC 2018 Review

Another year, another excellent elevator pitch competition!

This year’s EPiC competition hosted the best and brightest startups from over 20 different countries, with each and every startup pitching incredible stories and innovative ideas. A new addition to the EPiC, the kidtrepreneur competition, was held by HKSTP to provide budding geniuses an opportunity to present their entrepreneurial ideas — with the youngest presenter being only 8 years old!

“These startups are continuously raising the bar when it comes to ideation, preparation and execution. They demonstrated an impressive ability to champion disruption, and I’m excited for their entrepreneurial future,” said Joseph Fung, Managing Partner of Saltagen Ventures.

Although all the startups pitched incredible ideas, DASH systems came out on top as this year’s EPiC competition winner. According to HKSTP, DASH systems won “due to their precision aerial delivery system in the AI & robotics category.”
